Kiki is a Licensed Social Worker and specializes in working with disordered eating and eating disorder populations and related symptoms of addiction, anxiety, panic, depression, obsessions and compulsions, and identity concerns or transitions. She approaches the therapeutic process by developing relationships with ourselves- our minds, including cognitions and belief systems, and our bodies. She uses solution-focused, mindfulness-based, somatic, and experiential modalities to address the immediacy of present concerns, and work through past experiences that impact day-to-day living. Kiki also has training in psychedelic-assisted interventions with the ability to work with clients on preparation and integration.
Kiki has been in recovery for years and carries her experience to the work with her clients. She enjoys rock climbing, dancing unapologetically, and visiting her family where she is from in Minnesota. Kiki is also a PhD student in social work engaging in research on mental health and eating disorders, writing a dissertation on cognitions and belief systems that impact care for binge eating disorder.
